Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail: we are next to the park entrance
Good's Campground offers an affordable place to stay while enjoying the peaceful nature of Red Rock Mountain. Its convenient location puts you less than one mile from the RT. 118 Trailhead Parking for Rickett's Glen State Park. That's the equivalent about a 15 min walk, 5 minute bike ride or 2 minute drive. From there you can begin your hike of the falls Trail Loop. If you prefer the beach Good's Campground puts you within a 10 minute drive of Beach Trailhead Parking. From here you can swim at Lake Jean or experience another one of the 26 miles of trails that the state park adjacent to us has to offer.
Lake Jean: Lake Jean is just minutes away for swimming, fishing and boating Colonel Ricketts Hard Cider Winery: 8 minutes- open Thur. 3pm-6pm, Fri. 12pm-6pm, Sat. 11am-5pm and Sun. 12pm-4pm Benton Rodeo: 15 minutes- yearly mid July Luzerne County Fair: 20 minutes- runs yearly in late Sept. Bloomsburg Fair: 45 minutes- runs yearly in late Sept. Knoebles: 1hr- America’s Largest Free-Admission Park
Office Hours: The actual hours change with the season and will be posted here.
Road Speed: The speed limit is 5 mph throughout the entire park.
Restrooms and Showers: Facilities are exclusively for our guests. We clean them regularly and appreciate you helping us keep them clean.
Parking is limited to your own site. Please do not use empty sites for any purpose. We do not allow recreational vehicles, such as; ATV's, golf carts, moped, electric scooters or electric skateboards. All visitors or guests must display a car pass. Car passes are available for guests from Campground Staff.
Campers: All sites must have at least one adult camper over the age of 18. Maximum number of tents per site 2. No tents on RV sites, without prior permission. Maximum number of campers per site 6 (tent or RV) Site may not be used for loud parties or large congregations of people.
All children are to be on their sites or with their parents after the hour of 10:00 pm. This includes teenagers.
Day Guests and Visitors: Due to Covid -19 No Day guest permitted. Registered guest only.
Are welcome ! (Addition charges may apply.) They should be informed of our regulations. To avoid embarrassment, the management should be advised in advance if guests are to arrive not accompanied by the owner of the site. Guest and Visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. NO non-paying overnight guest permitted. Remember that all campers are responsible for the conduct of their guests or visitors. All Guests and Visitors MUST receive a car pass; this is for your protection so that we will recognize when unauthorized vehicles are on the premises. Car passes must be displayed on guest's vehicle. Car passes will be available at the office for pick up.
Open Fires: One campfire allowed per site. An adult over the age of 18 must attend fire at all times. All fires must be extinguished before leaving the area and/or going to sleep.
Do not move or add to fire rings.
Pets: Maximum number of pets 2. Additional charge of $2.00 per pet each day of stay. Pets must be on a leash at all times. You must pick up after your pet immediately. Anyone found not picking up after their pet would be asked to leave the park, with no refunds. The owners of dogs who bark uncontrollably will be asked to leave with their pets with no refunds. Pets are not allowed to be tied up outside and/or left unattended at any time. Pets are not allowed in any of our facilities. Records of vaccinations and health issues are to be kept up to date.
Neighbors: Please respect the privacy of others and do not cut across occupied sites. Do not cross the boundaries of the campground.You would not want someone wondering around your backyard. Don't do it to our neighbors.
Quiet Time:Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Sound carries a long way at night so be courteous to your fellow campers. If you are asked to quiet down more than three times you may be asked to leave. No Loud and boisterous parties or conduct will be tolerated. Use common sense and good judgment.
Site Maintenance: Garbage and Litter needs to be taken to the furnished dumpster. Goods Campground is not responsible for picking up garbage at your site. Please do not put leaves, hot ashes, large boxes (not broken down), metal objects, large wood items or anything but bagged trash in the dumpsters. If you have any of these items you must dispose of them at home.
Clotheslines: are dangerous, especially at night, and are not permitted.
Do not remove trees. Trees removed to accommodate your trailer will be at your expense and are the property of Good's Campground. Do not take cut firewood from sites occupied or not. Management reserves the right to remove trees or other objects on any campsite for safety or maintenance reasons and temporarily disconnect any utilities without notice.
Alcoholic beverages: The display of alcoholic beverages cans, bottles or containers is prohibited in the campground.
No Glass containers of any kind.
Firearms: All firearms must be kept unloaded while on park property. No discharging of firearms, air rifles, BB guns, bows and arrows, crossbows, or slingshots, permitted at any time in the park.
No fireworks are permitted.
Faliure to follow rules can and will result in ban from Good's Campground and you will be asked to leave, with no refund. Goods Campground may make changes to the rules as it deems in its sole discretion for the good of Goods Campground and guests.
